Welcome to the Colby Trumpet Studio! My goal is to help each student grow as a player and musician in a way that is thoughtful, individualized, and enjoyable. We’ll work on the fundamentals, repertoire, and musical skills that matter most to you, with an emphasis on steady progress, curiosity, and building a relationship with the trumpet that can last well beyond one semester. Just a note on the materials and videos contained in this page: you may freely download the PDFs, and I highly encourage you to watch as many of both the classical and jazz videos as you can. I will periodically add to this collection.
